Lotus Lake, MN General Information
Lotus Lake Facts:
A great fishing lake, the primary species caught in Lotus Lake is Large Mouth Bass, Bluegill, Black Crappie, Walleye and Yellow perch . Other species in low abundance were brown bullhead, golden shiner, hybrid sunfish, pumpkinseed, greens sunfish, and yellow bullhead.

Lotus is a 246-acre lake located in Chanhassen in Carver County. The lake offers a wide variety of uses including boating, fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, tubing, water skiing and other water sports.

-246 acres of surface area
-29 feet deep at its deepest point
-4 feet clarity depth
-Fed by over 1,300 acres of watershed 
-Serviced by one public boat launch (south end)
-Part of the Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District
-Located by three City of Chanhassen Parks: 
    oCarver Beach Park
    oNorth Lotus Lake Park
    oSouth Lotus Lake Park
